Ciruit Bending

The author and other members of the "Red 5" team discuss their experiences in Americorps and their stint in Salt Lake City at The Road Home shelter. This Americorps team was called "Red 5" which gave the zine its name.

Poetry; "Jimax" was the name of a bar located on North Beck Street in Salt Lake City, Utah. Although there are no poems in the issue about the "Jimax" itself, nor is it mentioned, one assumes the Jimax was the inspiration for the volume's title, or perhaps the author was "inspired" to write the ballads after time spent there.
